Aromatech Algeria
After 10 years of presence in Algeria through a distributor, the Aromatech Group located in Algiers in 2002.
By the end of 2002, AROMATECH ALGERIA started production of liquid flavours, followed in 2003 by powdered flavours and colouring.
Its research and development laboratory opened the same year. This structure was welcomed with enthusiasm by customers, who saw there was an opportunity for the rapid development of flavours better adapted to their needs and especially to local tastes and perceptions.
This need to be close to customers led the subsidiary to move in April 2004 to the Ben Boulaid de Blida industrial zone (35 minutes from Algiers) to acquire further assets:
- A larger production and storage area.
- Enhanced communication resources.
AROMATECH ALGERIA benefited from the Aromatech Group’s experience in founding the subsidiary:
- Tailor-made products at competitive prices: adapted to local tastes, products are available in different amounts and packaging.
- A flexible responsive production unit (average delivery dates of 3/4 days over than entire Algerian territory).
- An R&D laboratory that ensures respect of the Aromatech Group’s standards of quality as well as the development of new flavours.
- Billing in local currency.
